Madagascan Sunset Moth

Ethically sourced species that has lived its full life. This species is found to be endemic to Madagascar. Unlike most moths, the sunset moth is day flying and the bright colours warn predators of its toxicity. Another habit the moth has in common with many butterflies is the night resting posture - the wings are held vertically over the back. Black or white Shadow box frame available. Frame size 20cm x 20cm x 3cm
